23. Bench 365

Fitness has turned into a huge part of my life.  I grew up a skinny little nerd and once I found working out, my life changed forever.  Changed my outlook on basketball and made my career possible.  At my absolute biggest, I was 238 and benching 125# dumb bells for 8 and 340 on bench press.  My joints hurt, my body ached and my food bill was through the roof.  I’ve always refused to take any illegal steroids and it seemed impossible for me to get any bigger or stronger.  After recovering from another injury, I’m back in pursuit of this goal.  Back to benching around 335 but as any athlete knows, increasing your bench by 30 pounds at that level takes A LOT of work.
