6. Get paid to play basketball

Apparently becoming a professional athlete is a lot more complicated than most can imagine.  I've spent countless hours in the gym lifting, training, and perfecting my craft, but never was able to quite make it to the NBA.  However, I've played in the ABA, WBA, invited to the CBA and an NBDL tryout.  Won a contest sponsored by the Atlanta Hawks and won season tickets behind their bench.  But the highest level I've played at this point is the DBA (Darwin Basketball Association).  It was the highest level in the Northern Territory in Australia.  I also recently finished a season playing in the National...

5. See the Nazca lines in Peru

Science has always been a passion of mine. Ancient civilizations are one of my main interests. Throw in my curiosity in aliens, paranormal things, and unsolved mysteries, and this is just amazing. Massive drawings of random animals only visible from the sky... Makes me wonder...   No one really knows why they were made or what significance they had in the ancient culture, which just makes them that more interesting.   I've had a few offers to play professional basketball in Lima, which would put me right next to where I need to be to get this one checked off the list, but given...

4. Walk the bush in Australia

Ever since Crocodile Dundee, I've always had a fascination with Australia but never thought I'd get the opportunity to visit, let alone live there.  I was able to go to several of the Aboriginal communities and during my last visit, I had a few hours to myself where I was able to just go walk through the bush.  Not exactly what I envisioned, but very peaceful and relaxing.  It's amazing how it just goes on and on and on.  Beyond vast.  The skies were bluer than I have ever seen, sunsets like you couldn't imagine and sleeping under more stars than I've ever seen close enough to the bank of the river...

3. Climb a class 3 or higher mountain

I've always enjoyed exploring and seeing what all nature has to offer. The more difficult, the better, so...After speaking with several friends and looking at how mountains are classified, I decided this would be the best to tackle.  Man Vs. Nature at its simplest form...   YDS Class The system consists of five classes indicating the technical difficulty of the hardest section: Class 1 is walking on an even, often planar, surface with a low chance of injury, and a fall is unlikely to be fatal. Classes 2 and 3 are steeper scrambling with increased exposure and a greater chance of severe...

1. Scuba dive in Antarctica

I've always wanted to visit the south pole. The idea of walking or just being in a spot no other human being has ever set foot is just this dream of exploration and isolation I've always chased after. I recently saw a documentary about the scientists there and the tests they do. A lot of interesting, and very unique species living there that barely any human being has ever seen in person. I have no clue how to even set this up besides being part of an expedition or study which would allow me the opportunity... This will obviously be quite expensive and one of the more difficult to complete, but I suspect...

2. Dive with Great Whites

Marine Biology was always a passion of mine and even did an independent study course in high school on sharks and whales.  This led to a scholarship offer for University of Miami, but I was nowhere near the athlete to play basketball there, so I decided against it.  A goal of mine has always been to own a pet shark.  Something about them as the ultimate hunting machine has always been a sense of wonder to me.  When I envision this, I see myself off the coast of S Africa or Australia...  When I talk about this one, most people tell me I'm crazy and they doubt I'll have the nerve to get in there,...
